The First Of Many - A Mano Surf Session

We love exploring our curiosity and finding new sensations in surfing. It’s a huge reason we shape surfboards and it’s why we love connecting with our community. No one surfs to experience the exact same feeling every wave – no disrespect to wave pools – so it’s great to hear what sensations our community is searching for in their surfboards and surfing.

If you missed the first A Mano Surf Session, don’t stress. We’re already planning the next one. We love the opportunity to connect with our community, talk boards and see our shapes being enjoyed by different surfers in fun surf.

It was a perfect day of surf at Wategos, if you squinted a little (the swell was a bit wobbly). The Byron Bay Surf Festival event was in full swing and the A Mano community came out to score some fun waves and stoke their curiosity on our range of community boards. It was sunny, hot and a nice two foot swell wobbled into the bay. We had our noseriders, a couple of lady logs, a twin pin, plenty of stoking curiosity in the water and on the beach.

A massive reason we enjoy shaping boards is to help shape your curiosity and connect with new sensations in the surf. And that’s why we hope to see you at the next A Mano Surf Session – so you can join us, try something new under your feet (it’s free of course), push your surfing, and chat to the shaper about your dream board. Stay tuned to our Instagram for details.

Thanks to the A Mano community for coming out. It’s so great stepping out of the shaping bay and connecting with other people’s stoke. Excited to see you in the surf soon.
